Prescription Drug Prices: Persistent Pressure for Piracy

Why do some U.S. politicians still want to steal drugmakers' intellectual property? Despite a massive handout to seniors via the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, and the collapse of the cross-border traffic in "Canadian" meds, American politicians still advocate the international piracy of prescription drugs. In an article in the Fraser Institute's Fraser Forum, I explain why this threat to intellectual property is not - unfortunately - going away.
