Pacific Research Institute Presents Gray Davis with First California Golden Fleece Award

The Pacific Research Institute (PRI) has chosen Gov. Gray Davis for its first California Golden Fleece Award. The award, presented quarterly by PRI’s Center for Entrepreneurship, identifies state or local spending programs or regulations that fleece California taxpayers, businesses, or consumers.

A new study released today by the Pacific Research Institute (PRI) says that San Francisco should consider New York City’s model in dealing with the homeless. This analysis of the economic and political issues surrounding homelessness is particularly relevant to San Francisco’s current debate over Propositions N and O.
