Please join the Galen Institute and the Institute for Policy Innovation for a forum to explore the impact on the states, patients, and the medical profession of the major expansion of Medicaid under ObamaCare. While the new health overhaul law purports to protect states from the cost of the expansion -- which is expected to cover 16 million more people up to 133% of poverty -- analyses show states still are facing huge unfunded liabilities. In addition, hospitals and medical professionals are very concerned about their ability to meet the new demand for medical services. The impact could be particularly acute on patients who are covered by Medicaid today and who will have even more difficulty accessing care. Join us for this briefing to hear from the experts policy about the impact of ObamaCare.
