The Top 10 Myths of American Health Care

John F. Kennedy said, “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie: deliberate, continued, and dishonest; but the myth: persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.” This is the battle we face when it comes to the U.S. health care system: a set of myths so persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic that it’s easy to see why so many Americans believe that a complete government takeover of our health care system is the answer to all of our problems. Sally Pipes’s new book, The Top 10 Myths of American Health Care will shatter those myths and set the record straight.
