A Beautiful Drug Dilemma

On July 25, the House passed a bill, H.R. 2427, that allows the importation of price-controlled prescription drugs from 25 other nations, with no certification of their safety. The legislation became part of the Medicare bill passed by the House, which has been sent to a conference committee for reconciliation with a Senate bill that also allows importation.
