Adjunct Fellow, Business and Economic Studies

Hovannes Abramyan is a public policy fellow in Business and Economic Studies. Hovannes is co-author of the U.S. Tort Liability Index: 2006 Report and Jackpot Justice: The True Cost of America's Tort System. His prior work has included investigation of the U.S. immigration system, contemporary assimilation, and academic freedom in higher education. Hovannes has provided commentary on television and nationally syndicated talk radio, and has had opinion pieces in the Wall Street Journal, Investors Business Daily, and the New York Post.

Mr. Abramyan earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors distinction. His senior thesis, titled Structuring America: An Outlook on America's Newcomers, examined the varying conditions of American immigration and their relative predictive value on societal incorporation.
