E-mail Print Dispelling Health-Care Myths
Commonwealth Club of California
By: Sally C. Pipes
11.16.2009

EarIdeas.com, November 16, 2009

Inundated with medical terminology and ill equipped to navigate the options available, most people probably could use a little health-care-system guidance. With extensive experience in the field and an at-times controversial outlook, Pipes brings her knowledge to the public, breaking down the myths about health care and getting straight to the facts. This program was recorded in front of a live audience on October 26, 2009 at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.

The Commonwealth Club of California is the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum. As a non-partisan forum, The Club brings to the public airwaves diverse viewpoints on important topics. The Club's weekly radio broadcast - the oldest in the U.S., dating back to 1924 - is carried across the nation on public radio stations and is now podcasting.
