PRI Appoints Keith Chreston Chief Operating Officer

Chreston Brings Solid Reputation and 23 Years of Experience to the Pacific Research Institute San Francisco, CA — The Pacific Research Institute for Public Policy (PRI), one of California’s preeminent market-based public policy think tanks, today announced the appointment of Keith Chreston to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Bringing a solid reputation and 23 years of management experience to PRI, Mr. Chreston will oversee operations as well as all development and financial functions. Mr. Chreston will report to Sally C. Pipes, Chief Executive Officer and President of PRI.
“PRI has taken decisive steps to expand its influence with a new generation of public and private sector decision makers, who increasingly grapple with issues spawned by rapid technological advances,” said Ms. Pipes. “Keith will not only bring to the job his strong management skills, financial acumen, and strategic judgment, but will also help raise PRI’s profile with today’s emerging business and policy leaders.” Mr. Chreston has earned a strong reputation as an executive and consultant, managing operational, strategic, and fiscal planning and processes for several companies. Most recently, Mr. Chreston was Vice President of Finance and Operations at BeyondWork Inc. His experience also includes tenures at Intuit, RSA Security, Securant Technologies, iBuyLine, SuperMac Technology, and several others. Mr. Chreston is a CPA and a former auditor with Ernst & Young.
