Milton and Rose Friedman will be in attendance along with tributes by Gary Becker, Nobel Laureate; William J. Hume, Chairman of Basic American, Inc.; and Peter Thiel, founder and CEO of Paypal. “PRI is honored to co-host this event with Free to Choose Media,” said Sally C. Pipes, president and CEO of PRI. “Milton Friedman is one of the twentieth century’s greatest advocates of free markets. In addition to his accomplishments in the field of economics, Dr. Friedman argued for a volunteer army, freely floating exchange rates, and education vouchers.
