Sally Stegeman is Vice President of Development and Administration at Pacific Research Institute in San Francisco. Her non-profit professional experience includes senior fundraising positions with an emphasis on relationship development and strategic planning at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, WBEZ National Public Radio in Chicago, and Harvard University.

Ms. Stegeman is also an owner and an executive committee member of a real estate investment and property development firm, where she had primary responsibility for the marketing and leasing of the firm’s student housing portfolio of properties in addition to payroll administration and insurance oversight. The third component of her career has been her service since graduate school on numerous non-profit boards throughout the U.S., focused on the arts and education sectors. Ms. Stegeman was also a gubernatorial appointee to the Board of Control for Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. Ms. Stegeman has degrees in History and German from Smith College and Harvard University. She and her husband, Dr. Lorenzo DiCarlo, recently returned from a two-year professional secondment in London.
