Makaila Warga is the Development and Events Manager at Pacific Research Institute. Prior to joining PRI, she was the Executive Assistant to the Lower School Dean Administrative Assistant and Associate Director of Admission at Sierra Canyon School, a private co-ed day school in Chatsworth, where she assisted school officials and parents with the admission of prospective students.

Ms. Warga is a recent graduate from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Criminology with an emphasis in Legal Studies in May 2018. During her time at Cal Lutheran, she was one of a few students selected to participate in a domestic study abroad program in Washington, DC. She had the opportunity to intern at a law firm on Capitol Hill, where she assisted with casework and met then-Acting Solicitor General Jeffery B. Wall.

At Cal Lutheran, she was a member of The National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, and the Criminal Justice Student Association. Much of her time was dedicated to these clubs and the university’s online magazine for college women, Her Campus, where she wrote feature articles on students’ lives.

Ms. Warga graduated magna cum laude with distinct honors in her department of studies.
