Kerry Jackson – A Plea to Work Together

Kerry Jackson is watching this recent Ted Talk by Arthur Brooks of the American Enterprise Institute. In this stirring talk, Brooks pleads for liberals and conservatives to work together. He asks the rhetorical question – how can we solve problems with so much polarization? Brooks presents some ideas for how we as individuals can break this partisan gridlock.

Ben Smithwick – Victor Davis Hansen on the Decline of the American Academy

Ben Smithwick is a big fan of Victor Davis Hansen, and he recommends this recent interview with Ben Weingarten of The Federalist for the Encounter Books program, “Close Encounters”. In the interview, he talks about the decline of the American academy, threats to Western civilization from within and without, the “Resistance” and more. It’s a very interesting conversation and definitely worth your time to watch!
