• Restoring Accountability in Oregon Public Schools:  Policy experts, school board members, and state lawmakers will share insight on legislation to increase reading, writing, and math standards and offer lessons for Oregon school board members from successful school accountability measures being utilized in other states.
   
• Improving Student Performance:  Learn from classroom teachers and education policy leaders about successful strategies, learning models and curriculum that could be adopted in Oregon public schools to improve student performance.
   
• How to Protect Core Priorities Amidst Oregon’s Ongoing Budget Problems:  Education finance experts will discuss how federal and state budgets are negatively impacting Oregon’s classrooms and provide strategies for school board members to protect core priorities in uncertain fiscal times.
