President Biden Touts Obamacare As A Success. Many Patients Disagree.

President Biden is trying to make this November’s election a referendum on healthcare policy.

Last month, his campaign initiated a national organizing blitz with former President Obama to galvanize support for the Affordable Care Act — and by extension, the incumbent president, who has continued to expand his Democratic predecessor’s signature program. More than 21 million Americans have signed up for coverage through Obamacare’s exchanges this year.

But these enrollment numbers are nothing to celebrate. Obamacare’s costly rules and regulations have caused premiums and deductibles to surge. Most Americans would not be able to afford Obamacare plans were it not for the billions and billions in taxpayer subsidies that Democrats have doled out since the law took effect.
