Steve Hayward, Charles Kesler, Ryan Williams – Liberalization and the Polarization of American Politics

This past October, PRI and the Claremont Institute teamed up to celebrate our 40th anniversaries on a cruise in the Mediterranean. The cruise started in Barcelona, with stops in Mallorca, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Nice, Florence, and ending in Rome. The theme of the lecture series was “The Future of America and the West: Liberty, Sovereignty, and Self-Government.” Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing Next Round listeners these 40th Anniversary Lectures from the nation’s top scholars and writers. This first lecture, titled “Liberalism and the Polarization of American Politics” is from Charles Kesler, editor of the Claremont Review, Steve Hayward, PRI senior fellow, and moderated by Ryan Williams, president of the Claremont Institute.
