House Speaker Paul Ryan is retiring this month from Congress. A life-long advocate for lower taxes and free-market policies, his favorite role in Congress was not as Speaker, but as chair of the House Budget Committee. As he prepares to retire from Congress, his colleagues gathered to unveil a portrait in tribute to “Chairman” Ryan. Let’s hope future Members of Congress will be inspired to lower taxes and cut spending whenever they see this beautiful work of art.
