Tim Anaya – Cancer Treatments and Financial Returns
This week, PRI’s new Center for Medical Economics and Innovation released a new issue brief on the issue of cancer treatments and financial returns. It analyzes an oft-quoted study by the World Health Organization that has been used to argue cancer treatment costs are excessive. Not surprisingly, our Dr. Wayne Winegarden found that the study is both flawed and biased. The study gave me a chance to put together our latest animated video, which breaks down the issue and our analysis in a light-hearted way.

This should be required viewing in Sacramento, where lawmakers believe it’s fine for them to force the private sector to bow to their whims, in this case expanding parental leave.
