As the year draws to a close, the Pacific Research Institute team has taken time to reflect on all that we have accomplished this year.

In 2023, our research centers focused on crafting and promoting free-market policies that preserve our nation’s culture of innovation and economic growth, without the suffocating influence of overzealous government regulations and excessive taxation.

We did this by keeping our eyes on the prize and working with passion for and dedication to the principles that guide us. As PRI’s founder, Sir Antony Fisher, said:

“Where governments have pursued. . . the policy of maximizing individual choice within a framework of law and moral conduct, their problems have given way to prosperity.”

Whether it’s formulating and advancing policies to reduce energy prices, give parents and students choice in education, lowering health care costs while promoting medical innovation, or lessen homelessness and poverty, PRI is in the forefront of those providing workable solutions at the state and national levels.

It’s been a year full of surprises and challenges, but we are bidding goodbye to 2023 with a sense of optimism for the future. Our work would not be possible without our supporters who encourage us in advancing our mission.

Your gift today is a critical investment in PRI’s future. You will help:

  • Increase PRI’s research on the devastating consequences of high taxes, over-regulation, and expanding entitlements;
  • Expand PRI’s Free Cities Center, which houses the Institute’s research on urban planning, housing, homelessness, crime, and poverty;
  • Promote PRI scholars and writers as speakers nationwide—promulgating PRI’s mission of fighting for free-market solutions; and
  • Support the production and promotion of PRI’s forthcoming documentary film project on ways to reduce the dropout rate in our public schools.

On behalf of all of us at PRI, thank you for your support and best wishes for a Happy New Year.
