But Republicans held onto the U.S. Senate and even gained key seats despite predictions of a “blue wave.” Dr. Kesler will discuss what the midterm election results mean for American politics, President Trump’s 2020 reelection prospects, and the future of the conservative movement.

Dr. Kesler has written extensively on American constitutionalism and political thought, and his edition of The Federalist Papers (Signet Classics) is the best-selling edition in the country.
