Join the Pacific Research Institute for a special holiday party and reception at Salesforce in San Francisco featuring a discussion with Dr. Charles Kesler, Senior Fellow of the Claremont Institute, Editor of the Claremont Review of Books, host of Claremont’s The American Mind video series, and the Dengler-Dykema Distinguished Professor of Government at Claremont McKenna College.

The GOP’s loss of the U.S. House in the midterm elections has Democrats optimistic about their chances in 2020. But Republicans held onto the U.S. Senate and even gained key seats despite predictions of a “blue wave.” Dr. Kesler will discuss what the midterm election results mean for American politics, President Trump’s 2020 reelection prospects, and the future of the conservative movement.

Dr. Kesler has written extensively on American constitutionalism and political thought, and his edition of The Federalist Papers (Signet Classics) is the best-selling edition in the country. He was one of three recipients of the prestigious 2018 Bradley Prizes for individuals who work to “restore, strengthen, and protect the principles and institutions of American exceptionalism.”
