Stephen Moore

Stephen Moore is an economist and author, serving as a Distinguished Fellow in Economics at The Heritage Foundation and a co-founder of The Committee to Unleash Prosperity. He is a frequent lecturer to audiences around the world on the U.S. economic and political outlook, and is the author of 6 books. His columns have appeared in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, Forbes, and Fox News. From 1999-2004, Moore served as founder and president of the Club for Growth, an organization dedicated to helping elect free market candidates to Congress. From 2005-2014, Moore served as the senior economics writer for The Wall Street Journal editorial page. His book Return to Prosperity: How America Can Regain its Economic Superpower Status was a finalist for the F.A. Hayek Award for Advancing Economic Understanding. In 2018, Worth Magazine named Stephen Moore one of the 75 Most Influential People in the World Dealing with Economics and Finance. He is a contributor to the new book The State of Black Progress.
