About Peter Thiel

Peter Thiel is a technology entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded PayPal and Palantir, made the first outside investment in Facebook, and has funded companies like LinkedIn and Yelp. Peter also started the Thiel Foundation, which works to advance technological progress and long-term thinking.




About Kiron Skinner
Kiron Skinner is the Taube Professor for International Relations and Politics at the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy. She previously served as the Taube Professor for International Relations and Politics at Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Politics and Strategy. Skinner is also the W. Glenn Campbell Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and a Visiting Fellow at the Heritage Foundation. Skinner’s past government service includes serving as the director of the office of policy planning and senior advisor at the US Department of State (2018-19). Skinner is an award-winning and best-selling author with particular scholarship focused on the life and public policy of former president Ronald Reagan.
