Jamie Borwick is an elected Member of the House of Lords, which has certain similarities with the US Senate, except the members are mainly appointed, or as in Jamie’s case, elected for life.  He sits as a Conservative Party Peer, and is a Conservative Party Whip.  He is also a member of the Science and Technology Committee, and Deputy Chairman of the Association of Conservative Peers, the backbenchers’ organisation.

He is also a trustee of 5 charities, and Chairman of a rapidly expanding manufacturer of Carbon Fibre components for the aviation and automotive industries, and of several property companies.
